Rev. Scott Sharp
An ordained elder in the United Methodist Church, Scott Sharp has served for the past 30 years in five pastoral appointments in Oklahoma and New Mexico, as well as in youth and campus ministries. His last appointment before coming to TMF was as a senior pastor at Central UMC in Albuquerque from 2009 to 2018.
During his 30-year service to the church, Scott drew on his knowledge of systems to hone a strategic, outcomes-based approach to ministry that includes decisive leadership, creative ministries, and persuasive communications. Combined with his training and practice in spiritual direction and formation, Scott's experience is well-suited to his TMF role of helping churches throughout the New Mexico Conference create cultures of purpose and generosity.
A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Scott received an M.Div. from Philips Theological Seminary and earned a D.Min. from St. Paul School of Theology in 2017. Scott currently resides in Albuquerque, NM.
