Janice A. Virtue
For last two decades, Janice Virtue has focused her ministry on creating leadership development and leader formation programs that encourage congregational leaders to grow their capacity to lead in quickly changing contexts. Calling herself “an itinerant friend to clergy,” Janice is most in tune with God’s call when teaching, supporting, and challenging church leaders to live more fully into their own callings. A member of the Western North Carolina Conference, Janice holds a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University and a Master of Divinity from SMU. Together with friends she owns and operates Long Hill Farm, an experiment in community, food and close engagement with the land. When she isn’t working, Janice likes to be quiet, read good books, hike good trails, laugh with good friends and travel with her husband.
