TMF created a Launch Fund, which is a venture capital fund, to invest in faith based and socially responsible companies and non-profits.
Mentoring
Mentoring is a partnership, professionally, academically, or both, between someone with substantial experience and someone who wants to learn from that experience. AT TMF, we believe in connecting those experts with Social Entrepreneurs who want to make the world a better place.

The Launch Fund at TMF is designated for Faith Based Social Entrepreneurs and we are eager to put this money to good use.
We started the Launch Fund because we believe an opportunity exists for the incorporation of faith within the entrepreneurial journey and we believe existing models for start-up capital are broken. Traditional investors tend to focus on short-term growth and profit, then quickly flip the companies in which they invest. We take a completely different approach to investing. We place social returns on equal footing with financial returns and provide long-term, patient capital that helps support forward-thinking entrepreneurs who embody Wesleyan values. Overall, our aim is to help steward the potential of like-minded start-ups.
Our strategy is to harness the wisdom and resources of like-minded partners to invest in early stage faith based social enterprises. These investments can generate financial success alongside profound social change.
